Nail Aftercare Advice

To maintain the appearance, strength, and longevity of your Gel Polish, BIAB, Hard Gel, or Nail Extensions, please follow these aftercare recommendations:

  • Treat your nails with care and avoid using them as tools to open cans, scrape surfaces, or remove labels.

  • Wear protective gloves when cleaning, gardening, washing dishes, or carrying out any manual work.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to hot water, steam, and harsh chemicals, as these can weaken the product and cause lifting.

  • Apply cuticle oil daily and moisturise your hands regularly to keep your nails and surrounding skin healthy and hydrated.

  • Avoid biting, picking, or peeling your nails, as this can damage both the enhancement and your natural nails.

  • Do not attempt to remove Gel Polish, BIAB, Hard Gel, or Extensions yourself.

Improper removal can cause significant damage to the natural nail.

  • Avoid acetone-based products unless specifically advised by your nail technician.

  • If you notice any lifting, cracking, or damage, contact your nail technician promptly to prevent further issues.

To maintain your nails at their best, regular maintenance appointments are recommended:

  • Gel Polish: every 2-3 weeks

  • BIAB: every 2-4 weeks

  • Hard Gel: every 3-4 weeks

  • Nail Extensions: every 2-3 weeks

Following these aftercare guidelines will help extend the life of your manicure and keep your natural nails healthy and strong.
