Nail Aftercare Advice
To maintain the appearance, strength, and longevity of your Gel Polish, BIAB, Hard Gel, or Nail Extensions, please follow these aftercare recommendations:
-
Treat your nails with care and avoid using them as tools to open cans, scrape surfaces, or remove labels.
-
Wear protective gloves when cleaning, gardening, washing dishes, or carrying out any manual work.
-
Avoid prolonged exposure to hot water, steam, and harsh chemicals, as these can weaken the product and cause lifting.
-
Apply cuticle oil daily and moisturise your hands regularly to keep your nails and surrounding skin healthy and hydrated.
-
Avoid biting, picking, or peeling your nails, as this can damage both the enhancement and your natural nails.
-
Do not attempt to remove Gel Polish, BIAB, Hard Gel, or Extensions yourself.
Improper removal can cause significant damage to the natural nail.
-
Avoid acetone-based products unless specifically advised by your nail technician.
-
If you notice any lifting, cracking, or damage, contact your nail technician promptly to prevent further issues.
To maintain your nails at their best, regular maintenance appointments are recommended:
-
Gel Polish: every 2-3 weeks
-
BIAB: every 2-4 weeks
-
Hard Gel: every 3-4 weeks
-
Nail Extensions: every 2-3 weeks
Following these aftercare guidelines will help extend the life of your manicure and keep your natural nails healthy and strong.
